Future planning for sons and daughters with severe disability
Collaborative meetings continue bi-monthly between HKA carers, Consumers and the Mental Health Director, Declan O'Riordan and his Deputy, Maureen Fechter, for which we are most grateful. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to share vision, hopes and innovative ideas for improving local mental health services and we value this collaborative effort.
Our grateful thanks to Hornsby Council who have donated $1,500 to HKA Inc., to assist in improving services to Consumers. We are extremely grateful to Mayor Nick Berman and councillors for their continued support.
An initiative of NSW Health for Community Consultation
The public was invited to send in submissions. View HKA Submission: The Review of the Mental Health Act 1990
The submission was prepared and tendered by Judy Thompson on behalf of HKA. Concerns voiced at the meeting form the basis of the submission.
